My name is Meghan Groot, I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and I attend Westwood Collegiate. I have 3 siblings, two sisters and a brother, as well as three dogs, Peaches, Marshmellow and Chloe. Besides gymnastics, I like to read, listen to music and hangout with my friends but mostly sleep. When I am not doing any of these things, I can usually be found studying in my room as it has always been a dream of mine to become a doctor and help as many people as I possibly can.

 

I have been training in rhythmic gymnastics for 12 years and assistant coaching for three with the club that will forever hold my heart, Assinibione Rhythmic Gymnastis Organization (A.R.G.O.) Throughout these many years of my participation I have done routines with free, rope, hoop, ball, clubs and this is my first year with ribbon. I have trained in pre-competitive, National Stream and Provinical Stream and I am now in level 6B. I train Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays and the occasional Saturday for three hours each day. I am a current CIT (coach in training) and I have coached Tiny Tots, IRG 1, IRG 2 and Advanced IRG and hope to someday be the headcoach of my own club.
