The reason I chose the colour pink for the background and most of the text is because rhythmic gymnastics is a female sport so I wanted a feminine colour that would appeal to women and attract them to look on my website. 

The black on the white grainy header is easy to read and very simple. I found this layout was fairly simple and easy to look at so I kept it not too busy. Having the navigational links at the top is easy to use when wanting to go to a different page and avoids adding any clutter to the page.

 

The logo at the top of the page was already on the site when I first made it and I decided to keep it since it matched my topic.. The site title is bold and in pink because it should stand out from everything else on my website and it is always at the top of the page so no one forgets what my topic is about.

 

I put a video on the home page of my website so if someone comes onto my website and has no idea on what rhythmic gymnastics is, they can get the idea from the brief video. The short paragraph also on the home page, is just a quick introductory paragraoh that will inform people what is on my website.

 

On my about me page I decided, to put about me as a person and as a gymnast because it makes the most sense if people understand my gymnastics background instead of just who I am. It was a good idea to put my levels and the appartuses I've used incase any other gymnasts fall onto my website ands can relate to what I have done in my gymnastic career.

 

The rationale for my pictures in my media section are under the picture. I chose those two videos because it shows the viewer what
